Episode 11: Be Intentional With Cheree Johnson
On today’s episode of Brave Girls with Tracy Imm I talk to Cheree Johnson, a global corporate superstar that comes from an international family. She’s an attorney, a chemical engineer and one wise lady. She shares her brave moves and how she deals with fear and facing the truth.
Growing up as a military kid, she learned how to adapt to new environments and hit the ground running – all skills that have served her well over the years as both a student and professional. Her interest in science and technology started at a young age and landed her a full ride from NASA to attend Florida A&M where she completed a degree in chemical engineering.
She’s worked for corporations like 3M, Cargill, and Kraft Heintz…now serves as Chief Intellectual Property attorney for a global brand in Maryland. She shares her pivot from a technical position to law and how she blends both bodies of knowledge in her work today. We talk about her experience working in Amsterdam and what she learned by working in Europe.
You’ll love what Cheree has to say about her observations about women while she was in law school and what she shares with her mentees about first impressions and confidence. Cheree shares why she’s chosen to be intentional on her transformational journey. We talk about the “masks” that we wear and why we need to take them off to align with your values.
Cheree is real, authentic and articulate. I know you’ll love our conversation…so let’s go.
